Castlevania Production Shenanigans
Finding out that Netflix's Castlevania had animators who worked on Berserk and Death Parade was unexpected. I see the influences in the art style and I feel like I should have seen this coming. They were also influenced by Satoshi Kon's use of facial expressions, which is an absolute delight and I thank them!
Finding out the Goat-f***ing scene was there since 2007 and that Koji Igarashi ok-ed it was another experience entirely. How and why???? Not that I didn't laugh but still..?!?!
The entire Castlevania team (except Warren Ellis who is here for the history, horror, and shirtless Alucard) play and love the games, so every bit of interview I can get my grubby hands on is pure gold. I love them and I love how much they love their work.
Now my question is, out of the three initial scripts we've seen the Trevor one and the Alucard one. Where the hell is the Sypha one????? GIVE IT TO MEEEEEEEEEE. If you're telling me it's already in there with the rescuing her portion of the story, I'm calling bull.

We kept goats growing up so I'm fond of the bastards and given the conversation I think there's some Unfortunate Implications there.
