I KNOW RIGHT?! I grew up hearing about how LGBTQ+ is a western import and against Chinese culture, so to see a Chinese (Han?) majority country do this feels a lot like vindication to me.
I also admit to getting very very emotional while watching news coverage of the first weddings that took place on Friday. There might have been tears involved.
