Introducing Myself

Hello all, this is brownpuffball on Tumblr and TerpsichoreBabe on Twitter! So in the wake of the Tumblr Purge I was heavily reminded once again how fragile our fandom ecosystems were. F*** that noise, I refuse to be yanked about willy-nilly.

Out of all the sites I've surveyed, I think this is the safest and the one I liked best by far. So I'm going to park my butt here until fandom figures out where to go next.

I would also like to thank you for the many guides that various Dreamwidth users took the time to write for us Tumblr refugees. I lurked about Livejournal as a kid but never joined, so the learning curve is kinda steep. Hell, this entry is the first thing I've ever written in markdown. You're all very kind and I look forward to being here more actively.

I've been drafting & redrafting it for weeks. You seem like you have a) the critical eye and b) the technical chops to a) point out how the dysfluencies and b) the errors.

Well as you can see by the date that I've learned it fairly recently, but I'd be happy to beta read for you! Is there anything you'd like me to look out for in particular?
